| today, i swear i used my purell hand sanitizer 20 times already. i was training today with my co-worker who came back from the weekend with a cough, sore throat, and a fever. i also rubbed the hand sanitizer on the bottle itself. can never be too safe, nahmeans! anywho... happy new year! these past 2 months have been full of events, and im kinda sad it has all come and gone so quick! but im def. lookin forward to this year, as there are many good things to come =]. ninas bachelorette festivities were a success, brians 21st was fun filled, nina and chris wedding was a blast, and new years eve was priceless. i def spoiled the family but it was all worth it, only problem is comin into the new year with an emptier bank account, hahah. but time and money was spent well, and with who better than the people i love most. i can def say i ended '06 with a bang, and im def excited bout '07. =D | | |
| hypnotist show with my family was great. this was my fourth time seein it, and i tell ya, it never gets old. the show is always different. flip orley (the hypnotist) uses some of the same lil scenarios on the people, but really, its the volunteers who go on stage who make the show, and every person reacts differently. its freakin hilarious, and seriously, laughter is quite contagious. the show was funny on its own, but i couldnt stop laughin cuz my dad was laughin hysterically, and if anyone knows how my dad laughs, they'd understand why it would make a person laugh with him...and at him...hahaha...love the guy. the folks enjoyed it, and it made my weekend. if you havent seen this show yet...i highly recommend it, everyone i know who has seen it surely gets a kick outta it. stress levels this past week were extremely high, and this weekend has brought it back to a normal level...sorta. holidays are nice and all, but it just means that work and deadlines get pushed up, double work, *sigh.
anywho...im never one to talk politics...and i'll keep it to a minimum since i didnt get a chance to vote...but i just had to put some thought on this since its been brought up various times this weekend. i never considered myself a republican OR a democrat...my views are half and half...but...i just hope we're all prepared for whats in store for us after the results of this past week's elections. im not sure if everybody has looked at the bigger picture...a lotta ppl are just lookin at separate issues...but our economy may now be in deep crap. i think its great that the troops are on their way to makin it back home, and that the democrats are gonna be helpin out those people who are less fortunate and cant make it on their own...but just be ready that to support that, interest rates are prolly gonna go up, gas prices will prolly sky rocket again...to keep the balance, the government will prolly want more outta us, so we can support those things we want. and in that case, we shouldn't complain rite? yea rite...we effing love complaining and blaming the government for this and that. lets just hope everything works out...the new senate has got a lot on their shoulders and many people to satisfy. those are my two cents, i didnt vote so i wont complain whatever happens. just bring home our troops, enough damage has been done.
on a lighter and more random note...cops suck! ok maybe this isnt a bad thing...but tell me why, as i was exiting off 28 to route 50, because it was raining and a bit slippery, because my tires suck, as i was turnin down the ramp, i totally did a 360 and almost hit this cops car who was pullin over somebody. now you would think this is something someone should notice...a car comin down the ramp...spinnin towards ur vehicle. lucky enough my brakes dont suck that i stopped right before hitting the cops car, and that there were no cars behind me. but not once, NOT ONCE did the cop flinch, turn his head, look over, or even realize what had just happened. he was too effing busy writing up the dude he pulled over. so i just drove off like nothing happened. i was like wtf just happened. hahaha...first i was happy no accident happened...but then i was just like dude...that cop didnt notice a damn thing! must be those donuts weighing him down. | | |
| i swear i have the worst luck with my car, but of course, i guess it could be worse. a month ago i spent some hundred bucks repairing my car so that it could last another year. new tires, wheel alignment, new timing belt, the works...this weekend one of my new tires busts...it busts! well i guess if i woulda avoided the huge crater in the road...but yea, thats just my luck. so i been drivin around with a donut, stayin in the slow lane, drivin under the speed limit. it sux. sux indeed. random thought done.
